Please describe what your appliance is NOT doing. Anything
you tell me may be a useful clue and will help me advise you about how
to proceed to correct the problem:
Examples:-
- The fuse in plug or spur box is blown so that there are no lights
on the boiler
- The boiler tries to light, but only does part of the process you normally
hear and then stops.
- The flame is very yellow. Important: do
NOT use the fire or boiler, the colour of the flame indicates
it is producing carbon monoxide gas. Immediate attention is necessary.
- The boiler produces hot water but the radiators are cold
- The boiler heats the radiators but there is no hot water in the tank
- The pilot lights but goes out the moment you take your finger off the
knob.
